We're talking to you about his Winery
Alain Allier is a disciple of a "legendary" winemaker in the Gard, Eric Pfifferling (L'Anglore). Alain gave up his first job as a garage mechanic to become winemaker and create an 8 ha Winery near Nîmes (St Cômes and Maruéjols) where he makes wines the way he likes them, natural wines! For him, natural wine is the fruit of several factors :

And Alain insists that the wines must be a reflection of the terroir from which they come. You can obviously feel a paw "Anglore in the Winery Mouressipe, so easy to drink these wines. Whatever the Grape variety worked (grenache but also merlot (and yes...) or the famous clairette, Alain's wines have a real freshness and a wide range of aromas. A very nice discovery. |
