Alsace

North East of the vineyards of France bordering Germany, exposed North South 100 km and 3 wide. Protected des Vosges, the climate is temperate, suitable to a beautiful maturity of the grapes despite the location. Elevation important varieties of soils and grape varieties make the reputation of these wines and light, mostly white (made from Riesling grapes, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Muscat ...), dry, sweet and sparkling wines (Crémant) but also red with Pinot black as in Burgundy.

Three Names for this region: Alsace, Alsace Grand Cru and Crémant, which can be attached the name of the grape variety, one of the town but also the vinification method (due to the late harvest ripeness, Noble Grain Selection due to the successive sorting) .
