Known for his vinicultural approach as being one of the first winegrower having adopted biodynamics principles (as soon as 1990), Paul Barre proudly carries the Fronsac appellation. Settled along the Dordogne river since 1974, he owns Château la Grave as well as the Fleur Cailleau Domaine, founded in 1982. The domaine covers 8 hectares. Pampered with care, the vines have been ploughed by horse since 2013.
Logical continuation, unusual enough in Bordelais to be pointed out. Vinification without input of course. Of a family size Paul Barre’s vineyard is gradually being taken over by his son Gabriel,. Long life to them ! We just love their wines...full stop.
