Installed inside a castle built in the 17th century at 900 meters height on a plateau south of Grenoble, the distillery of Domaine des Hautes Glaces is still all new. However it is already striking in the mind of spirits connoisseurs. Run by two friends, Jérémy Bricka and Frédéric Revol, respectively agronomist and oenologist, this small business produces various types of cereal eau-de-vie, distilled from organic rye and barley planted on different localities. Domaine des Hautes Glaces is one of the rare distilleries cultivating and transforming their own cereals. It is probably the smallest and the only one of them whose entire production has organic farming certification and only uses renewable and local energy as a main source of energy. The result brings unique and incomparable terroir expressive power.
