Our opinion on this winery

Born in Brittany, Thibault Stephan first trained as a winemaker in Ardèche. But he is attracted by the soils in Western France and, in 2015, he moved to Puy Notre Dame, near Saumur in Anjou. A very pretty village where several winemakers bios and nature are already installed. Thibault works 4.5 hectares of vines, shared between 1 third of Chenin and 2 thirds of Cabernet Franc. The soil is worked with respect and the vine grown in organic farming, with a marked interest for the precepts of biodynamics. All direct actions on the vines are manual to fill the barrels of healthy and alive grapes. "Free wines, organic, containing very little sulfur," he tells us. Crunchy wines, greedy, close to the fruit. This new generation of "new Anjou" winemakers has decidedly a lot of talent !
