Elodie Balme vinified her first wines in 2006 so she definitely knows a lot about wines. The domain- handed down from father to son – has grown over time and today is 28 hectares . After her studies in viticulture, Elodie spent nearly 3 years at Domaine Marcel Richaud in Cairanne and, in 2006, her father gave her away 6ha of conventional vineyard. Step by step, with dad raising his eyebrows, she modified her cultural approach and replaced contact products with fertilizers, organic enrichment and plowing.--- From the beginning, winemaking has been done without artificial yeasts and no acidulation. Winemaking is as close to the nature of the grapes as possible. Surprising wines that have been talked about... and as a result demand is increasing and in 2008, Elodie Balme preferred to invest in the construction of her own winery, all in concrete tanks. She now vinifies 28 hectares, with a lot of different wines full of fruit, a silky texture and generous ,well, wines in her own image. Côtes du Rhône, Rasteau, Roaix, sweet wines. There is some wine for all tastes.
