Our opinion on this winery

Alain Allier is a disciple from a « legendary » winemaker in the Gard, Eric Pfifferling (L’Anglore).

Alain has drop his first job as a mechanic  to become a winemaker and create a vineyard of 8ha near Nîmes (St Comes and Maruéjols) and where he makes wines as he likes, natural wines !

For him, natural wine is the result of several things :

Life in the soils must be respected and upgraded (without chemical products)

The vineyard must be guided along seasons with sweet methods, without hostility.

Grapes must be essentially nice and healthy

And Alain insist on saying that wine must be the reflection of the soil where they’ve been grew up.

Obviously, we feel a touch « L’Anglore in the Domaine Mouressipe, those wines are so easy to drink. No matter the age of the grape variety (grenache but also merlot) or the famous clairette, Alain’s wines have a real freshness and a large rang of flavors. A really nice discovery.
