« Un coin sur Terre », a small place on earth created by Edouard and Lane Sentex in 2015. This small place named Vauvert (in the Gard region), is a vineyard at the furthest south point of the Rhône Valley just outside the Camargue. Situated in the very center of a triangle Nîmes, Montpellier and Arles, overlooking the “ Petite Camargue” at the junction of the Languedoc and Provence regions.
Though young the vineyard is not run by a beginner. Edouard built his experience over many years, 4 years in the Bordeaux region (his birth place) working in family vineyards and some prestigious ones (Château Haut-Brion). In 2006, he moved to the Gard region, for a technical manager’s job at Domaine Scamandre for 7 years as an introduction to Organic Farming. Then, Edouard looked towards Chile in 2010, then New Zealand in 2013. That is when he decided to join Lane who was working in China (she then became his wife). They had met in 2012. At the time Lane was working in a domaine neighbour to the Scamandre vineyard. Once together in China they decided to travel around the Pacific and then to go back to that little place on earth where their love was born….
The circle was completed and their project was elaborated in 2015 with the help of many people.
Today in 2019 the Domaine covers 6 ha of vines on rented land (all with Certified Organic Farming) 2 ha of mourvèdre, 1,5 ha of Syrah, 1 ha of Carignan, 1 ha of Grenache and 0,5 ha of Cabernet Sauvignon.

A super couple full of energy, yearning and expertise. We are enthusiastic about the time we spent together and about the quality of wines we tasted. Edouard, Lane, keep going ! All the best !
