The domaine « La Combe aux Rêves » is located on the Bugey border, in Revermont (Journans). A young wine grower settled since 2010 with a 15 year viticulture experience, Grégoire Perron took over in the best possible way plots of land bearing heavy chemical past. With a South, South West exposure three different wine varieties are put forward : two red wines and a white from parcellar selection are scheduled on this two hectare vineyard. Vines are planted with grass, they are worked and harvested by hand. From the top of its two hectares and around 6000 bottles the domaine has the reputation to produce “intimate” cuvées.
Thones, Martod and Soay sheep add a touch of originality to the vineyard and are a good way to maintain and naturally fertilize the vines with their excretions. Since 2009, Grégoire Perron has been working savoyards and jurassiens wine varieties on steep plots of old vines. Thirty year old vines run from beginning to end following organic principles. Vinification is 100% natural with cuvées not exceeding 15 mg sulphur input. Grégoire Perron has in mind to plant new vines in order to instaure a horse ploughing system that would add character to that already atypical domaine. Nature and skill offering unusual wines for your palate’s delight. The Savoie in its natural state !
